The Grimes Companies Promotes Ike Sherlock to Vice President

Jacksonville, FL, August 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Ike Sherlock has been promoted to Vice President of The Grimes Companies (TGC). Sherlock joined the company in 2006, and has served as Director of Fleet Operations with Grimes Trucking Company since 2007.

This newly created position consolidates the reporting of all asset-based subsidiaries of TGC as well as the Client Services group. Sherlock will report directly to Michael O’Leary, President of TGC. “I’m very pleased to be announcing this move. The expansion of the company’s infrastructure is a key component of our continued growth,” said O’Leary. “I have worked with Ike for several years and know that he holds the same commitment to clients and focus on quality that our company is dedicated to giving. Sherlock is a native of Alabama and is a graduate of Troy University. He is a member of the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville and was a founding member of the Rotary Club of Baker County. He and his wife Jennifer have three sons, Anthony, Hazen and Connor.

TGC, a Jacksonville, Florida based company, currently operates both public and contract warehouses in Florida and Maryland. As a single-point solution for logistics and supply chain needs, TGC provides warehousing, transportation and packaging services to its clients. FileSafe, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of TGC, offers document storage services to businesses in Northeast Florida.
