HG Featured in National Art Magazine
Orlando, FL, August 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- HG Art and Framing Consultants were interviewed and featured in an article by national magazine Art Business News. The June 2008 article, “Building a Strong Collector Base,” focused on the profitability and longevity of galleries based on their ability to build a collector base. HG’s success over the past 26 years led ABN to believe they were a perfect candidate for the article.
Lisa Marie White, director of marketing for HG Art and Framing Consultants, was asked to give advice to those hoping to build a collector base. White said “starting a mailing list of “Who’s Who” in the community; focusing on philanthropists initially; paying attention to those who attend political and fund-raising events; and using local publications that highlight top social gatherings are all ways to connect with potential collectors and build a strong and loyal base.”
White also suggested to “be consistent; regularly communicate via e-mail blast or postcard with a new artwork or exhibition,” White suggests. “If you promise to do something for a client, follow up in a timely manner. Let your clients know you appreciate their business with a follow-up phone call or handwritten note.”
Also contributing to the article quotes were Director Russell A. Glotfelty and New Business Developer Brooke Raymond. Glotfelty has over 26 years of experience in the art consulting and framing industries and Raymond gained experience through her previous positions at the Savannah College of Art and Design and The Kessler Collection.
