Digital Agency Numiko is Nominated for DADI Awards
Digital agency Numiko has been nominated for Digital Agency of the Year at the DADI Awards 2008, following a client / peer nomination process.
Leeds, United Kingdom, August 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Leeds-based digital agency Numiko has been nominated for Digital Agency of the Year at the DADI Awards 2008. Having initially been short-listed via a client/peer nomination process, Numiko had to submit a list of ten clients and a statement of capability before the judges decided that the company would be one of five nominated for the award.
The DADI awards were open to anyone in the UK and Ireland providing they are based outside London’s M25 region – testament to the talent and business savvy existing outside of London currently. Amazingly, two of the five nominees are based in Leeds, which is quickly becoming the city of choice for vast numbers of creative and digital agencies.
Jaron Ghani, director and founder of Numiko said “we’re delighted to have been nominated for this award. We all work very hard to provide clients with fantastic projects that they’re really happy with though offering engaging design and content, whilst always staying on top of the latest technology and media.”
This nomination for Numiko follows the company being selected as one of the few companies to be awarded development contracts from the BBC Innovation Labs with their proposal for an interactive drama, visible at numiko.com, and just the week before the company reigned supreme at Content 360 in Cannes; an international competition to find the very best digital companies working with broadcasters.
Numiko’s projects that have been launched recently include the new website for The Culture Show for the BBC: www.bbc.co.uk/cultureshow/ and Leeds College of Art and Design: www.leeds-art.ac.uk/
The winners for all of the DADI awards will be announced at a non-black tie event at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, on 31st October.
