Jack O'Brien Golf Outing Set for 9/21/2008
Morton Grove, IL, August 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Second Annual Jack O'Brien Memorial Golf Outing (sponsored by the Action Party of Morton Grove) is scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Mt. Prospect Golf Course which is located at 600 S. See-Gwun Avenue in Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
This event was created to honor long-time Morton Grove resident Jack O'Brien, who was not only an avid golfer, but a long-time community volunteer and founder of the Action Party of Morton Grove. He also served as the village's electrical inspector and ran his own electrical contracting company for many years. One of Jack's crowning achievements (besides his loving family) was his work on the television transmission towers on top of the Sears Tower.
For those interested in participating in event (golf, dinner or both), the fees are as follows: Golf is $100 per person and includes golf cart and 2 beverage cart tickets.
Dinner is $30 per person. If purchased together, golf and dinner per person is $120.
Those interested in being a Hole Sponsor, that fee is $125 for new hole sponsors to advertise your name or business on an 18x24" sign. Anyone who sponsored a hole in 2007 can sponsor in 2008 for $100.
First tee time is 10:30 a.m. All golf tickets and hole sponsors are entered into a raffle with the 1st prize being a set of golf clubs. The dinner begins at 5:00 p.m at the Mount Prospect Golf Course.
All proceeds will be used to benefit The Action Party of Morton Grove.
