Animal Radio® Live and Exclusive from Los Angeles Casting Call - Animal Planet’s ‘It’s Me or the Dog’ is Seeking Guardians of Unruly Dogs
The producers of the runaway hit “Supernanny” have teamed up with Animal Radio® for the Los Angeles casting and a new season of Animal Planet’s ‘It’s Me or the Dog.’ The wildly popular series will continue to be hosted by sexy-dog-trainer Victoria Stilwell. The casting call will be captured live on the AM/FM/XM Satellite Radio broadcast of Animal Radio®.
Los Angeles, CA, August 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The producers of the runaway hit “Supernanny” have teamed up with Animal Radio® for the Los Angeles casting and a new season of Animal Planet’s ‘It’s Me or the Dog.’ The wildly popular series will continue to be hosted by sexy-dog-trainer Victoria Stilwell. The casting call will be captured live on the AM/FM/XM Satellite Radio broadcast of Animal Radio®.
Casting director Johnnie Raines tells Animal Radio® listeners that they’ll be looking for the pooch that’s an obedience school dropout. Raines says, “Don’t bring your dog to the casting call…if you can bring him, then he’s probably not the kind of dog we’re looking for. Just bring a picture and yourself.”
This is the first US filming of the hit program. Until now, ‘It’s Me or the Dog’ was filmed entirely in the UK. Animal Planet (Discovery Communications) has signed on for 20 U.S. episodes to be shot in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
‘It’s Me or the Dog’ host Victoria Stilwell tells Animal Radio® that American dogs have more behavior problems than those in the UK. “I can make a better living here (in the US).” Stilwell is also currently a judge on the CBS show ‘Greatest American Dog.’
