Desert Rose Design

Desert Rose Design was selected as a recipient of the 2009 Annual Awards for Business Excellence presented by The Business Ledger. This award is given for business achievement, growth and community involvement. We were selected by a panel of Business Ledger staff and event sponsors from more than 100 nominations in 12 different categories. We received our award in the Small Business category.

In May 2009, Desert Rose Design won two 2009 Communicator Awards of Distinction. The Communicator Award is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for Communications Professionals and is overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

Desert Rose Design has been honored with 27 award certificates for our multiple submissions in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 American Graphic Design Awards. The national competition is open to all segments of the creative community, including graphic design firms, advertising agencies, corporations, publications, universities and institutions. Our employees were instrumental in obtaining these awards due to their high energy and creative graphic design skills.

Desert Rose Design was selected as a Prize Winner in the Office Depot® Adopt a Small Business Contest.

This contest awarded more than $1 million in prizes by recognizing 500 small businesses nationwide for their smart survival strategies. To enter, a small business had to upload an original two-minute video at www.TheSurvivalofTheSmartest.com and explain the smart things their business does to survive these challenging economic times.

Desert Rose Design snatched an award for the website we created for Turboeats.com, an online fast food delivery service.

The American Web Design Awards are the latest competition sponsored by Graphic Design USA, a news, projects, people and trends magazine. This competition celebrates the power of well-designed websites and other online communications to attract audiences; generate engagement and response; and promote products, services and ideas.

In recognition of the economic power of multicultural businesses, DiversityBusiness.com, the nation’s leading multicultural Internet site, named Desert Rose Design as one of the Top 500 Emerging Businesses in the United States as well as one of the Top 100 Businesses in the State of Illinois for 2007.

In 2008, DiversityBusiness.com once again named Desert Rose Design as one of the Top 500 Emerging Businesses in the United States.

Desert Rose Design was recognized for their outstanding website development for A. Hardy USA by The International Academy of the Visual Arts. The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning web site and marketing programs.
