Moving up 66 positions to rank 133 on Builder magazine's top 200 list, Jeff Benton Homes posted year-over-year increases for 2008 in both total closings and total revenue.

2008Builder Magazine tracks trends in the housing and construction industry and bases its annual rankings on both the total number of closings and total revenue homebuilders reported in the previous year. Jeff Benton Homes made the list for the first time this year debuting at position 199. JBH now ranks as one of the largest homebuilders in the country.

JBH Achieves EPA's Energy Star Qualification
2008Jeff Benton Homes, Incorporated (JBH) has received the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star Builder designation. Energy Star, a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, recognizes builders whose homes meet stringent standards in four areas.

JBH Receives River Guardian Award
2008Jeff Benton Homes (JBH), one of the area's largest subdivision developers, was honored for its work in the Liberty Park neighborhood off Taylor Road. The Liberty Park sub-division is adjacent to the Goldsmith-Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary. Combined, the Hays Nature Preserve and Goldsmith Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary form Huntsville's largest and most undeveloped parklands.
