About

Texas Prescription Advocates

Texas Prescription Advocates is a Central Texas-based company who brings together pharmaceutical companies, doctors and other health care providers to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the prescriptions they need through a public or private program that's right for them. Most programs offer either a 3-month or 6-month prescription.

Many people have difficulty affording health care, including prescription medications. A number of patient assistance programs provide help to patients who lack prescription drug coverage and earn less than 200% of the federal poverty level. More than 29 million people in the United States have income levels below the 200% federal poverty level and have no health insurance.

Patient applications will be directed to the public or private programs most likely to meet their needs. Texas Prescription Advocates will help qualifying patients, without prescription coverage, find sources to obtain their much needed medications.

1. We will enroll them in over 250 possible patient assistance programs
2. We will access more than 1200 medications
3. We will accurately complete all the paperwork, taking the burden off of patient and their healthcare provider
4. We will follow-up with each patient to maintain continuity of coverage to ensure that the patient receives medications without a break in refills.

There is no program to join. There are no contracts or monthly bills. The patient will pay a $20 application fee for each prescription that is successfully filled. This fee also applies to refills. Most prescriptions are filled in 3-month quantities. No fee will be charged if the medication cannot be obtained from any of our sources. Save $100’s in monthly prescription costs.

Company History

Texas Prescription Advocates

Texas Prescription Advocates was founded by Randy J Fraga, who has 15 years of experience in obtaining financial assistance through his work with various state and federal assistance programs. The need for this program became apparent when he himself fell into the cracks due to his own disability. Through his background and efforts to survive, he found the need to share his knowledge to assist others in the same situation.
