Company History
SourceBottle (thesourcebottle.com) is a free online service for journalists to post leads (also known as ‘call outs’) for sources at no cost and on demand. The site was launched in July 2009, the direct result of founder Rebecca Derrington asking herself, ‘Why we don’t just ask the media what they want?’. Rebecca wanted to give journalists and bloggers a platform to find the sources they needed, and PRs and small and mid-sized businesses the chance to get free publicity and media attention.
