Southland Shredding is on a tear. Just over 1 year ago in September of 2004 Sandra and Randall Rawson decided there was going to be an explosion of growth in the area of onsite shredding due to new laws and the public agnowledgement of Identity theft. We wanted our company to be more than just a truck a driver and a couple of accounts. Having had years of experience with another shredding company we new what not to do and what to do to be successful. The company we were employed with before we opened Southland Shredding with was bought out by a larger conglomerate and did not provide any kind of customer service at all. Within two months of opening our phones were ringing at least twice daily with some one who was unhappy with there existing service. Our approach has been so well received that within 7 Months we had to buy our second shredfast mobile shredding unit. We have signed on over two hundred accounts in this short time buy offering what most companies want, namely on time pickups, courteous proffessional drivers and only being billed for services actually performed. Our philosophy has been simple, treat people how you would want to be treated. This led to our mantra wich is "Service is the Difference". There our 49 other onsite shredding companies in Southern California but only one with a track record like this. We have grown from a start up in September 2004 to a company now employing 4 drivers, helpers and support personnell with a full time office staff of three, We never wanted people to call and get a recording so we added phone lines and personell as needed to take care of that. In the next year we expect to double the size of the company and bring in more customers to the family as I like to say. Southland Shredding will keep tearing up the competition as long as they keep providing us with unhappy customers.
