About
www.mrbonx.comAndrew Trigwell began playing professionally at 16 with London-based jazz fusion band, Anerley Park. He then joined East Grinstead band Karma, gigging extensively during the 1980s. He later played with The Bullfrogs, a nine-piece blues band. He has since recorded 2 albums: The Rough with the Smooth (with sleeve notes written by Nick van Eede of Cutting Crew) in 2000, and Never Mind the Ballads in 2003 with 2 more albums yet to be released - Too Much Information (blasting rock) and Tracks of the Trade (funky rock). Mr Bonx’s plans for 2006/7 include a blinding new single to be produced by Giles Twigg, his band back on the road and to reach as many people as possible with his unhinged blend of humour, loud rock music and downright honesty. His live act is certainly an experience, with influences unashamedly drawn from Frank Zappa and Alice Cooper. It is not just music – it is a bit of theatre too, and Mr Bonx is not just a rock musician – he’s a tangible character!
