Rap Phenom

Rap Phenomenons formerly the Rap Olympics releases results for the 1st annual ringtones awards and the search begins for the next batch of talented emcee's

Rap Phenomenons to promote events and messaging campaigns in 2006.

Rap Phenomenons DVD series and the RingTones Awards Inc. have teamed up to produce a six-part series designed to discover the hottest new prospects in hip-hop. Rap Phenomenons present "The search for the next Rap Phenomenons". The search is slated to begin Spring/Summer 2006 , and is part talent contest and part documentary, with each episode culminating in one-on-one rap battles and featuring the lifestlye of the participants. Though clearly part of the reality-show stampede, Rap Phenomenons is less inspired by American Idol than by 8 Mile recently featured on MTV and Vh1.

The original Rap Olympics, was established in 1997, by Wendy Day founder of the Rap Coalition. This event has been credited with helping to inspire the hit movie 8 Mile and has been credited with helping to launch the career of hip-hop star Eminem. With the resurrection of the Rap Olympics, undiscovered artists will compete for thousands of dollars in cash prices, exclusive ringtone deals, and the chance to be discovered by some of the top labels.
