Campus Continuum focuses solely on developing, marketing, and operating university-branded 55+ Active Adult Communities that are tightly integrated with their academic hosts.
We do not require any significant capital investment by our academic partners. Colleges obtain recurring revenues and an equity interest in our projects, depending on their contribution to the venture. Contributions can include any combination of the following: land, access to courses and campus events, access to alumni and other prospective residents and, optionally, investment dollars. We provide everything else, including capital, real estate development expertise, marketing, lifestyle management planning and on-going property management. If land is not available on campus, we are willing to acquire land nearby.
Campus Continuum offers today's seniors and aging Baby Boomers a combination of benefits nowhere else available:
1. One-stop shopping for stimulating intellectual, cultural, social, volunteer, part-time work and wellness opportunities--on and off campus, within an intergenerational setting – all coordinated by a Dean of Senior Students.
2. Camaraderie enjoyed through membership in a lively, diverse community of life-long learners.
Depending on local market demand, our communities are developed as condominiums, coops, or refundable entrance fee homes (with in-home health care available) or as Continuing Care Retirement Communities.
