Company History
- In 1996, Logistics Plus CEO Jim Berlin was given a one-year, three-person purchase order to help manage domestic inbound logistics for GE Transportation Systems (GETS) in Erie, PA
- In 1997, GETS asked Jim and his staff of five to assist with their newly developed Mexico supplier shipments
- In 1998, GETS placed some of Logistics Plus' 15 team members in their sourcing offices in the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia
- In 1999, we extended the services of our 20 teammates to India, China and Indonesia as well as to our first new customers, and our exponential growth began
- By 2004, we had over 100 employees, offices in twelve countries, and over 200 customers
- Today we have 36 offices in 20 countries, over 350 employees, $100M+ in annual revenue, and over 1,000 very satisfied customers across many industries
