Florence to be the Home of Alabama's 5th MIEX® System

The City of Florence, Alabama will be home to Alabama’s fifth MIEX® Treatment system. The 8 MGD system will remove dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and reduce disinfection by-product (DBP) formation. The MIEX® System will be applied as pretreatment to the plant’s existing treatment process and will allow for compliance with EPA DBP regulations. - August 23, 2013
