With 41% of Transgender individuals attempting suicide, 25 times the national average of 1.6% (National Center for Transgender Equality and National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, 2011), a transgender woman seeks to document her story through film and coming to terms with being a woman, her heterosexual wife's response, her final surgery to transition from male to female, and fighting her gender dysphoria and the daily thoughts of suicide leading up to her surgery. - May 01, 2014
