Coastal Preservation Network Presents "Rap Battle of the Century!" to Raise Environmental Awareness Among Kids in Queens

Nine-year-old Finn Cervino from College Point, Queens, NY, loves music, and has figured out a fun way to get his own music-loving peers caring more about the environment: by hosting a rap song battle. Cervino's parents lead Coastal Preservation Network (coastalpreservation.org),and he invites Queens kids ages 8-14 to write lyrics about an environmental theme and set it to the music of a popular song. Winners will be announced at Family Fun Day in MacNeil Park, June 27. - April 26, 2015
