2015 National Karate Championship Brings 3000 Visitors and $1.5 Million to Raleigh

The 2015 Amateur Athletic Union Karate National Championships in the Raleigh Convention Center will bring more than 1600 athletes and their families to the local area June 30 - July 4, 2015. 1000 athletes will attempt to set a new world record for simultaneous performance of karate sequence. Top finishers will receive medals, trophies, and an invitation to be selected to the National Teams traveling to Brazil this fall or to Ireland next spring. - July 01, 2015
