Foundation of Hope Gives $560,000 for Mental Illness Research in Largest Funding Cycle Ever

The Foundation of Hope, a Raleigh-based nonprofit that funds the research and treatment of mental illness, has awarded $560,000 in research grants to seven investigators from UNC-Chapel Hill, Department of Psychiatry. Since 1984, the Foundation has awarded 119 scientific research grants totaling $4.3 million, which have leveraged well over $140 million in federal grants from the National Institute of Health. - July 02, 2015
