Jacob Beckley of Woodridge, Illinois is attempting a solo-row across Lake Michigan to bring awareness to and raise funds for the most underfunded form of childhood cancer. Benefiting Lurie Children’s of Chicago, Jacob will row continuously for a 24-hour period from Michigan to Chicago at the end of September. - August 14, 2016
