Racing to Give Metro Atlantans a Place to Lay Their Heads: "Race for Rest" Bed Race Benefits Recently Homeless

The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta recycles donated furniture by giving it to individuals and families coming out of homelessness and fleeing domestic violence as well as countless others struggling to make ends meet. On Saturday, September 17, the "Race for Rest" 5K and Bed Race will take place at Atlantic Station, serving to raise awareness of and funds to support the Furniture Bank and its mission to make houses of homes. - August 31, 2016
