Asha for Education launched its 11th annual Work An Hour (WAH) campaign on July 15th, 2008. The Work an Hour theme for 2008 - "Empowering rural India. One child at a time," – was chosen to address the problem of poverty in the primarily agrarian rural India and the consequent lack of opportunities for the children in these communities.
