Yoga 4 the Cure
San Diego, CA, February 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Yoga Instructor Sara Holliday of Fit by Sara and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego Unite to Help Women Get Fit and Feel Great through Yoga while Generating Funds for the Cure for Breast Cancer.
Women of all ages and fitness levels join together in peaceful meditation and yoga at Mission Bay Park, San Diego CA in the effort to generate funds for the cure for breast cancer.
Fit by Sara united with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego with the a common vision - helping women get fit and feel connected while contributing to finding the cure for breast cancer. Sara Holliday, President of Fit by Sara, fitness expert and yoga instructor says, “Yoga at the bay is the perfect way for women to connect with themselves and others, while contributing to a great cause—the cure for breast cancer”. Sandy Rabourne, a breast cancer survivor and Director Developer for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego affiliate states, “We hope to make an amazing grass root effort, encouraging women to take care of themselves and contribute to finding the cure.”
The yoga workshops will be held the last Saturday of every month beginning Saturday February 28, 09 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. The workshop will take place on the lawn next to the Visitor’s Center at Mission Baby park located at 2688 East Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA 92109. The suggested donation is only $20 and all proceeds go directly to the San Diego Affliliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
