Illness Tracker for iPhone Makes Doctors Appointments More Efficient and Effective
Illness Tracker for the iPhone, newest release by Winkpass Creations, makes doctors appointments more efficient and effective. Users track various aspects of illness and health and have the information available at the touch of a button.
San Jose, CA, March 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Illness Tracker, Winkpass Creations' latest iPhone app, records various aspects of illness and visually displays the data on a calendar. Users can track health and illness for multiple people and have the information in the palm of their hands when it is needed.
"Taking three kids to the doctor during flu season, and keeping track of each child's symptoms, fevers, etc. is what pushed me to create Illness Tracker," says Cheryl Atkinson-Derman, Founder of Winkpass Creations. "Being able to consult with my iPhone made the appointments more efficient and effective."
Illness Tracker allows the user to track multiple people and input information about each individual, including name, birthday, physician, physician's phone number, and custom notes. Once information is entered for a person, a personal calendar is attributed to that individual. Touching a day on the calendar allows various notes to be recorded, including, temperature, pain level, and whether the person is sick, took medication, or went to a doctor's appointment. Associated icons appear on the calendar for each day with a record, and provide a snapshot of health and illness over time.
Winkpass Creations has another health tracking app, iPeriod. iPeriod's success in iTunes has demonstrated that people value tracking various aspects of their lives. Its visual calendar also allows the customers to see their personal history and trends at a glance. Winkpass Creations continues to regularly update iPeriod to meet customers needs, and recognized a need for additional health tracking apps.
Husband and wife team, Leon and Cheryl Atkinson-Derman, founded Winkpass Creations in 2008 to deliver unique content to the iPhone. Learn more about Illness Tracker and other apps by Winkpass Creations at www.winkpass.com. Illness Tracker is available now on iTunes for $3.99.
