Indianapolis, IN, July 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Indiana Region, announced the formation of the Evansville Regional Advisory Council.
The Evansville Regional Advisory Council was formed by a committed group of dedicated volunteers to advance the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. “I am so excited to collaborate with Evansville’s business and community leaders to grant the wishes and enrich the lives of children battling life-threatening medical conditions,” remarked Executive Director Juli Miller.
The Advisory Council will act as a liaison between the Indianapolis-based regional office and southern Indiana. With a number of combine years experience, the eight advisory board members in Evansville will build a foundation to implement a stronger presence of Make-A-Wish in southern Indiana.
“This is the first council of its kind for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. I hope that the Council will enable us to better serve Vanderburgh and the surrounding counties by raising funds and awareness,” commented Miller.
“Our collaborations with volunteers and donors have enabled the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Indiana Region to become the largest and most successful wish granting organization in the state. I hope the formation of the Evansville Regional Advisory Council will motivate the entire Make-A-Wish community to strive to grant the heartfelt wishes of each and every wish child.”
