Chantilly, VA, July 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In the midst of its 40-year anniversary, Jazzercise, the largest dance-fitness program in the world, announced the opening of its newest fitness classes in Chantilly. Located at Hoop Magic Sports & Entertainment on 14810 Murdock Rd., near the Chantilly Auto Park, classes will be offered Monday through Saturday.

“Jazzercise has really grown in popularity in the DC area among all ages, and since the June announcement that two-time ABC-TV show “Dancing With the Stars” winner Cheryl Burke will serve as a Jazzercise spokesperson, I expect it will continue growing bigger and better,” said Chantilly instructor Michelle Negrelli. “We’re excited to offer the benefits of the Jazzercise fitness program at one of the area’s premier sports facilities. We want to give the public an opportunity to see what Jazzercise is all about.

To celebrate the grand opening, free classes will be offered on Thursday, August 13 at 5:30 PM, Friday, August 14 at 9:00 AM, Saturday, August 15 at 9:00 AM. Open house festivities will include information on the Jazzercise program and a free workout. Admission is free to everyone, and participants should dress to exercise. Healthy refreshments will also be served. Door prizes will be given away and customers will have the opportunity to sign up for unlimited classes for only $99 for the rest of year.

The 60-minute Jazzercise class includes a warm-up, high-energy aerobic routines, muscle-toning and cool-down stretch segment. Jazzercise combines elements of dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and more to create programs for people of every age and fitness level. Alternative formats include Jazzercise Lite, Jazzercise Personal Touch and Junior Jazzercise.
