Idyllwild, CA, August 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Saturday, August 29th is the date set for seekers to get their first lesson in The Mystic's Guide to Riding the Dragon, a workshop being sponsored by The Chakra Shack. Speaker and shaman Chrystine Julian of chrystinedrums.com will be presenting tools to use to turn fear into productive energy, a certainly valuable tool for the uncertain times that people face today.
Julian says, "The Mystic's Guide to Dragon Riding is a safe environment for exploring your hopes and empowering them into reality. You have the power. This is a workshop to learn how to use it." Julian, whose background is in corporate communications, was laid off in 2008 after more than 15 years with the same company. "This workshop was born out of suddenly being thrown into unemployment after so many years of being in a relatively secure place. So many are in the same position, and I wanted to offer something to help others.", she related.
Organizer Julia Countryman, owner of The Chakra Shack says, "In times like these, there are so many things that are uncertain, and it's easy for fear to overtake our power and render us paralyzed instead of empowered. It's important to remember that we hold the keys to our own power and healing. It's through workshops like Chrystine's that help us keep our energies open and flowing to help us achieve our greatest potentials."
