BH® North America Increases Sales Territories, Focuses on Dealer Support
Foothill Ranch, CA, September 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Leading Orange County fitness equipment manufacturer, BH North America, has taken a key step in maintaining its fitness sales growth by adding two North American sales territories to better serve its specialty dealer network and provide the responsive sales support dealers have come to expect from BH North America.
As part of the sales territory increase, BH North America reduced the geographical size of the existing territories to allow greater concentration in each territory. Steve Wilkins, BH North America’s President and CEO said, “Reducing the size of the territories will allow our sales team to spend more face-to-face time with our dealers and help them better manage their businesses in this tough economy.”
In addition, BH North America hired industry veterans Ray Barone and Phil Verstraete in the West and Southeast, respectively. Barone and Verstraete, with a combined 25 years of fitness industry experience including dealer sales, equipment manufacturer sales, and club management, bring skilled leadership to their territories. Most recently Barone served as Regional Sales Manager for ProSpot, where his region consisted of all US and Canada territories west of the eastern Texas border. Verstraete most recently served as Regional Sales Manager for Fitness Resource, where he oversaw all sales functions for nine stores in the Atlanta region.
“We’re very happy to have both Ray and Phil on our team,” said John Coyle, Vice President at BH North America. “They’re both very talented and experienced sales managers that embody the commitment BH has for providing outstanding support to our network of dealers. Without question this is a big step forward for us.”
Wilkins echoed Coyle’s comments and said, “Our dealers are vital to us and we’re going to do whatever it takes to help them thrive.”
