Revitalize Yourself and Robson Square
Momentum Fitness is offering free bootcamps in Robson Square twice a week to help revitalize the area and it's inhabitants.
Vancouver, Canada, September 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Robson Square, a once bustling and exciting Vancouver landmark has been under improvements since 2004 and almost forgotten about until now. With construction set to finish on the beloved ice rink plaza by September 14th local training studio Momentum Fitness wants to revitalize Robson Square and everyone around it.
Group “Better than Bootcamp” fitness classes will be kicking butt Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch time for 8 weeks starting Thursday September 17th. And the best part is it's free. These 45 minute classes running from 12:05pm to 12:50pm are guaranteed to revitalize participants with some much needed exercise and fresh air.
“Better than Bootcamp” small group classes have been an exciting addition to Momentum Fitness since the beginning of summer 2009. “Better than Bootcamp, BTB is the perfect recipe for adding a new challenge and mix to your fitness routine - plus, it is loads of fun!” raves one participant who has been training with a personal trainer and on her own for 5 years. Another member has this to say “The Better than Bootcamp sessions at MFit did more than just help me get in shape and drop a pant size or two. I sleep better, feel more relaxed and have more energy. The instructor is really attentive and brings lots of energy to the class.”
Momentum Fitness, a training facility that specializes in personal training, has clients ranging from golfers who want to lower their score to the busy executive struggling to find enough time to stay fit. Momentum’s mission is to apply our extensive knowledge and experience towards helping clients achieve a higher level of fitness and quality of life. We have created an environment that is friendly, professional, fun and safe.
The Robson Square ice rink first opened in 1982 and served as an ice rink in the winter and an open plaza for various groups in the summer. It was closed in 2000 due to maintenance issues and renovations of the entire Robson Square complex started in 2004. In October 2007 when restoration of the Robson Square ice rink was announced Premier Gordon Campbell had this to say "This is the centre of the city in so many ways and to be able to create a real centre of attraction for all of the public will be a great thing for 2010".
Whether on a lunch break, taking the day off or just exploring the neighbourhood drop into Momentum Fitness' free “Better than Bootcamp” class Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch time and start revitalizing Robson Square but most importantly yourself.
