The Orange Planet Expands 2009 Group Fitness Schedule and Welcomes New Instructors
There is only one real way to sustain lasting results and that is plugging into a program with quality leadership that has the passion to take you to places you know you want to be. Results don’t happen by accident. Your time is now!
Des Moines, IA, September 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Orange Planet, a premier Iowa athletic club focuses on hoops and health. “The hoops part gets lots of attention, but the health part is growing each week, specifically in the area of group fitness and membership,” said Charleston. September 14, 2009 is the date that the club adds more fun classes to their already successful schedule along with a few new instructors.
The first new class, Jump Rope Hop, incorporates hard core jump rope drills in a calorie blasting class with a hip hop vibe. The class is taught by Adrienne Weeks, former dance instructor and college cheerleader. Adrienne joined the club as an instructor in their inaugural year and is returning after having her first baby.
Another new class called Three, Two, One consists of 30 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of weights and 10 minutes of Abs work. “What I love about this class the most is it offers a variety and a change of pace to the traditional 45 minutes workout,” said Leah, class instructor and director of group fitness.
Melissa, a new instructor to group fitness fits in like a seasoned pro. Melissa starts her Monday mornings off teaching a high energy boot camp. “I love teaching boot camp because it is a fun way to get a hard work out in while using a variety of different motions and equipment”, said Melissa.
Group fitness at The Orange Planet keeps their members accountable to gaining fitness results. “…group fitness is a great way to help people be accountable for their health and wellness through the relationships that they build with other participants. At TOP it feels like a family and I strive to get to know each and every person that comes through the doors of the fitness studio so that they know they are welcome and I am excited to be there to help them achieve their fitness goals.” - Denise
The Orange Planet Athletic Club is easy to find just off Hwy 5 in Pleasant Hill, IA. A complete group fitness schedule is available on the company’s website and is included in all their membership packages.
