Riverside, CA, January 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Riverside Zumba (a division of T3 Fitness Energy) launches Riverside Zumbatomic® for kids ages 4-12 on Thursday, January 21. Classes will be held at 3PM every Thursday at the Riverside Zumba Studio (located in the Riverside Tennis Center). Future days and times will be added to the schedule
Zumbatomic fuses dance, music and exercise together to create a fun, healthy program for children. It is based on the Zumba® Fitness concept, and is 100% kid friendly. The goal is to help kids develop a healthy lifestyle, to incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives and not just a class they attend once a week. Zumbatomic considers the whole child and includes learning: leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, responsibility, coordination, balance, discipline, memory and creativity.
To further inspire the families and kids of the Riverside community, T3 Fitness Energy and Katz Outdoor Fitness are proud to support the Alliance for a Healthier Generation founded by Michael and Susan Dell. With each Zumbatomic registration, parents will receive the book “Be Well – Messages From Moms On Living Healthier Lives” as narrated by Susan Dell in either Spanish or English. Each inspirational and engaging chapter contains examples of how moms adopted the behaviors recommended by the CDC to prevent and control childhood obesity.
Riverside Zumbatomic will be taught by certified instructor, Katherine “Kat” Davis, CPT, CEO of Katz Outdoor Fitness and Inland Empire Zumba.
