Sheehan Personal Training Presentation of "the 4 Evils of Nutrition," to be Aired on Cable TV First Weekend in February

Tom Sheehan and LeAnna Brown, owners of Sheehan Personal Training in Foxboro, MA, are proud to announce that their presentation of “The 4 Evils of Nutrition” will be airing on Foxboro Cable this coming weekend (Feb 5 – 8) Friday through Sunday at 8:30 PM and Saturday through Monday at 3:30 AM and 12:30 PM. This presentation was delivered to a packed audience at the Foxborough Public Safety Building on December 3, 2009.

Foxboro, MA, February 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Sheehan and Brown, who are now into the fourth year of business with their training studio, believe that nutrition is the most important component of healthy living. They operate a semi-private training studio where up to three people can be in a session at once, but all nutrition plans that are developed are unique and based on a clients' goals, tastes, and lifestyles.

Sheehan, a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American Academy of Sports Dieticians and Nutritionists (AASDN), had struggled with weight as a child and embraced exercise shortly after graduating from high school in 1982. He is currently studying the effects of nutrition on the prevention and eradication of many diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. He believes that there is a library of information which needs to be shared with the public that will enlighten many people as to the dangers of the processed food that we are eating today. “At one time bloodletting was approved by all leading doctors, so we need to be objective and open-minded when it comes to potential cures for diseases today,” says Sheehan.

Brown, a self-taught expert on organic and whole food nutrition, began studying foods and their effect on us with the birth of her first child in 1993. She started reading labels and doing research on what we were feeding our infants. She soon noticed the symmetry between the advent of the Standard American Diet (SAD) and the many afflictions (mental & physical) that children are suffering from today. From this point on she only purchased organic food and immersed herself in journals and books that would provide her with the highest possible knowledge on how to provide proper nutrition to her family. "I am frankly amazed at people when they tell me they cannot afford organic food. Those same people tend to spend an enormous amount of money on recreation and eating out," Brown says. "The sad part is that when disease sets in, many will consider it simply ‘bad luck,’ when in fact the illness is almost always attributable to improper nutrition and lifestyle.”

Tom and LeAnna have made this presentation several times, most recently at a meeting for the Mansfield chapter of The Massachusetts Women of Today, and for the Attleboro Tactical Assault Team of Law Enforcement. They will be conducting similar presentations for Martial Arts studios in Easton and Raynham in the coming weeks.

Tom Sheehan and LeAnna Brown are life and business partners who operate their holistic personal training and nutritional coaching studio at 71 Elm Street, Suite 10, Foxboro. They both have a goal of making a difference in the health and well-being of every person who walks through their door. They both possess a Masters in Business Administration, and are nationally certified personal trainers. They currently conduct their own independent studies on nutrition and the effects that exercise and nutrition can have in the prevention and elimination of diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
