The Demand for Anger Management Training Increases in Spite of Ruptured Economy

Anderson & Anderson has seen a steady increase in the attendance of its Anger Management Training seminars each month since September 2009, and, as a result, has decided to increase the number of trainings it is planning to offer this year.

Los Angeles, CA, February 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Due to the demand for anger management classes and services by the general public and the court system, businesspeople from the counseling service industry have been contacting Anderson & Anderson on a daily basis. In spite of the current state of the economy, the requests for training in the Anderson & Anderson anger management program are staggering. Since September 2009, George Anderson, Executive Director of Anderson & Anderson and Anger Management Guru, has consistently hosted three-day training seminars out of his Los Angeles (Brentwood) based corporate headquarters. Up until last fall, Anderson & Anderson training seminars were offered once or twice every quarter, meaning that on average the company would offer eight training seminars or less per year. These seminars are now available one to two times per month in every month of 2010.

This training program utilizes the Anderson & Anderson C.A.S.E. model for anger management. It is designed to train group facilitators to help clients enhance their Communication skills (to communicate assertively), Anger management and Stress management skills, and increase their Emotional intelligence (or ability to empathize with others and accurately read their behavior). The Anderson & Anderson training materials assist facilitators in dealing with anger management clientele appropriately. In each training seminar, the participant (or trainee) gets to experience what an anger management client goes through when attending an anger management class. Each trainee has an opportunity to ask the trainer (George Anderson) specific questions. Mr. Anderson will address those questions and share some of his experiences as a group facilitator.

The next two live forty-hour Anderson & Anderson Anger Management Training seminars will be hosted on February 24-26 and March 24-26, respectively. The first day of each seminar will be focused on training to work with the adolescent client. On the second day, the general anger management client (namely the adult and/or older client) will be the focus. On the third day, organizational training/emotional intelligence will be the primary focus. On this day, participants will learn how to facilitate small groups. Trainees who register and attend all three days will receive twenty-four hours of live training and a sixteen-hour Motivational Interviewing CD-ROM for viewing and testing on their own time. Completion of the three-day process awards a Forty-Hour Anger Management Training Certificate, which meets one of the initial requirements for inclusion on the Certified Anderson & Anderson Anger Management Providers Lists. Anderson & Anderson invites those who are interested to call its office at 310-207-3591, or visit its company web site.
