Elite Personal Training’s Matthew Sgro Bringing Much Needed Awareness to Local No-Kill Animal Shelter
Matthew Sgro of Elite Personal Training in Exton is bringing much needed awareness to a local no-kill animal shelter.
Exton, PA, March 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Faithful Friends No-Kill Animal Shelter is an organization that Exton personal trainer Matthew Sgro believes in and supports, so he wants to lend a hand by raising money and bringing awareness to what they are all about. He has teamed up with worldwide charity fitness organization Boot Camps With a Purpose to do just that.
“Boot Camps With a Purpose’s mission is not only about raising money and bringing awareness to charities – they are also about educating and motivating people to live a healthy lifestyle," Sgro says. “So, for me, it was an easy decision to connect with them to help raise money for Faithful Friends Animal Shelter. We will be holding boot camp style workouts every other Saturday, beginning this Saturday, March 13th, with all proceeds raised going directly to the shelter to help them in providing the proper care that all homeless animals need.”
Faithful Friends No-Kill Animal Shelter’s goal is to end the neglect, abandonment and killing of pets in Delaware and enrich the lives of people by promoting and providing compassionate animal-related welfare and social services. Currently, about 25,000 pets become homeless in Delaware and over 15,000 are destroyed in Delaware's publicly funded shelters. The vast majority of these pets are destroyed because there are no homes immediately available for them.
All boot camps will be held at 10:00AM in the parking lot of Elite Personal Training located at 571 West Uwchlan Avenue in Exton. A minimum donation of $15 is requested to participate. All fitness levels and ages are welcome. To learn more about Faithful Friends No-Kill Animal Shelter, please visit www.FaithfulFriends.us.
