ABB Performance Beverages Are Now Built Even Better
Old school ready to drink sports nutrition has a new look, feel and taste. That’s ABB following through on a commitment to being built greater.
Aurora, IL, March 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ABB has been a major force in ready to drink (RTD) sports nutrition since 1985, developing a loyal following of weight training athletes with innovations like Blue Thunder® the first power activator drink and Carbo-Force® the first high-carbohydrate performance beverage. Both are still available today, reformulated for improved flavor and nutritional profile. Everything about this legendary brand is new and improved, from the updated logo to innovative new containers and redesigned packaging.
“Long-time ABB customers are sure to notice the improvements ABB has made to what many already considered outstanding flavors,” said Alan Yengoyan, General Manager of ABB. “The resealable Alumi-Tek® bottles that the new formulations of Pure Pro® 50 and Pure Pro® shakes are packaged in are drawing considerable attention, from consumers and distributors alike.” These bottles were selected to provide active individuals with an easy way to save some protein for later that also helps keep it cooler for longer.
The company’s distinctive new look and new beverage reformulations were introduced at the Arnold Sports Festival Expo in Columbus, Ohio, on March 5th. The weekend event drew a crowd of approximately 170,000 spectators and participants of 40 different events, including 13 Olympic sports. During the Festival, ABB handed out over 7,000 bottles of new and newly reformulated performance RTDs along with branded t-shirts and other promotional items. Samples included ABB’s MAXX Recovery™ protein/carbohydrate exercise recovery drink, different flavors of Pure Pro protein shakes, Speed Stack® pre-workout drinks and new Speed Stack® Pumped N.O. which combines caffeinated energy with muscle pump promotion.
ABB Performance Beverages are bottled at a company owned and operated 80,000 square foot production facility in Walterboro, South Carolina. This cGMP compliant plant is capable of filling, capping, packaging and palletizing over 400 bottles a minute. ABB maintains hands-on control over every step of the manufacturing process to assure consistently high standards of quality, a commitment the company has been known for since 1985.
