Bellevue, WA, April 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Snap Fitness invites men and woman that do not currently exercise to visit their Bellevue, WA location to volunteer for a free a 21-Day Fitness Study. The fitness profile will measure the following medical components:

Resting Heart rate
Blood pressure systolic/Diastolic
Percentage of body fat
Body mass index (The makeup of the general body mass and the amount of body fat)

Results
Snap Fitness is conducting this Fitness Study nationally and will be gathering results from hundreds of clubs. The goal of the Fitness Study is to determine what results can be expected with non-exercisers completing three weeks of moderate exercise utilizing the Snap Fitness circuit for 30 minutes three times per week for three weeks. Individual results will be kept confidential; however Snap Fitness reserves the right to use group results for promotional purposes.

Jackie Siochi, local Snap Fitness owner said: “The key to the positive results we are looking for with The Fitness Study is the support we give to the volunteers, just like our members. The 30-minute workouts are specifically designed to fit their own level. We have the best equipment available in the industry today that easily fits woman and men. The workouts are designed to increase their lean muscle and decrease their body fat. We are with them every step of the way offering instruction and motivation. It’s like having their own personal trainer on each workout”.

Muscle-The Key To Burning Fat Efficiently & Having a Lean Body
The only thing in our bodies that burns fat is muscle, nothing else. As we age we lose muscle. On average adults lose 7 to 10 pounds of muscle every 10 years after the age of 26. So it only makes sense, we put on weight easier as we age and it’s harder to take it off. Muscle controls our metabolism, which is the rate at which we burn fat. The less muscle density that we have the less efficiently we burn fat. The Snap Fitness circuit is designed to burn fat and increase cardiovascular endurance. It also increases muscle density, which in turn, increases metabolism.

Jackie Siochi also states “Many new exercisers experience a lower resting heart rate and lower blood pressure. We are determined to record the data and share it with other non-exercisers everywhere. Consider this: Dropping the average heart rate just 3 beats per minute at the conclusion of The Fitness Study means the heart is beating 180 times less per hour and 4,320 less beats per day. Over the course of a year your heart would beat 1,576,800 times less. If these benefits can be realized in just three weeks exercising for thirty minutes three times per week for three weeks of moderate circuit training, imagine what can be accomplished in three months!”
