NAS Missouri Chairman, Eric Todd, strengthens his family strongman legacy to help support Camp Quality’s effort to help kids battling cancer.
Aurora, IL, June 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The True Strength of numerous Midwestern strongmen will be tested on June 12th at Kansas City’s Belton Hanger. That’s where the 7th annual Gus Lohman Memorial Missouri’s Strongest Man competition will be hosted by Eric Todd, state North American Strongman (NAS) chairman. Todd is a grandson of the late Gus Lohman, whose memory is being honored for the seventh consecutive year at this event, which serves as the official state strongman championship for Missouri.
“Wrestlers, weight lifters and old time strongmen from the Kansas City area still talk about Gus Lohman,” said Todd. “He would lift objects that no one else could lift and was never beaten at wrestling. The Top 3 contestants in each weight class will qualify to participate at the NAS Nationals November 12th and 13th in Reno, Nevada.
