Curves of Pinellas Park South Celebrates a Birthday
Local women's fitness club reaches their 4th Anniversary in Pinellas Park.
St Petersburg, FL, August 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- When Roger and Linda Beaulieu, owners of Curves Pinellas Park South, opened Curves four years ago, the mission was to give the women in Pinellas Park a complete aerobic and strength training workout in a fun, supportive environment.
"It's exciting to have been a part of Pinellas Park for so long, providing the women with weight loss guidance and a fun, doable program, " said Linda Beaulieu. "We feel our success in Pinellas Park stems not only from the strength of the Curves brand, but our dedication to helping women get fit."
Since the Beaulieu's opened the Curves of Pinellas Park South in August 2006, women have been able to exercise in an environment designed strictly for them.
To celebrate the anniversary, Curves of Pinellas Park South will host an Open House Monday, August 16th. To further celebrate, during the entire month of August Curves of Pinellas Park will be extending free trials to women who have never been Curves members, including a tour of the Curves facility, a free Fitness Assessment and training. Former members will be welcomed all month in the spirit of a "Reunion," and offered an easy return, drop back in program to get them back to the habit of a regular exercise routine.
In addition to a proven total body workout plan, based on integral circuit training, Curves of Pinellas Park South offers various programs to help motivate and assist women in obtaining a healthy lifestyle, including: CurvesSmart™ personal coaching system, a new technology pioneered by Curves that offers a precision designed workout, moment to moment feedback and progress reports to keep members motivated while they workout; plus free Weight Management and Nutrition classes.
According to Beaulieu, scientists have put the Curves fitness and weight-loss program to rigorous testing, scrutinizing its effects on hundreds of women. Under the direction of Richard B Kreider, PhD, FACSM, at Texas A&M, it has been proven that Curves works. Women on the Curves plan have lost weight and kept it off, boosted their metabolism, lost body fat, gained muscle and enjoyed several other significant benefits.
The Curves plan focuses on firing up the metabolism, small meals throughout the day, a broad variety of healthy food and strength training. Curves' exercise program consists of thirty minutes of exercise three times a week, during which participants work all major muscle groups and receive a great cardio workout as well. It includes all five components of a complete exercise program: warm-up, strength training, cardio, cool down and stretching.
"We look forward to continuing the Curves program in Pinellas Park and helping women achieve their goals" said Beaulieu.
