The New York International Fringe Festival Presents the World Premiere of Banshee of Bainbridge Written by Jim Tierney

The year is 1985. After losing his mother to cancer, 33 year old Mij Sullivan, an Irish-American Bronx native, believes it is his duty to restore his once all Irish neighborhood back to the way it used to be. The only problem is that he must fight off the Puerto Ricans to claim it. With a handful of visits by a banshee who has journeyed from the motherland to give him strength, Mij transforms himself into a warrior, but finds that the battle might only exist within him.

What: The year is 1985. Who: Jim Tierney- served in the United States Marine Corps. Reserves from 1995 to 1999. In 2004, he was cast on Law and Order: Criminal Intent, as a guest star across from Vincent D'Onofrio. Over the last seven years, Jim turned his attention to writing, with plays produced in both New York and Los Angeles. Past written and produced one-acts include Dirt, Carry On, Loose, Shitbird and Lynching St. Thomas. His play, Monkey, was the winner of the 2009 Shotgun Theater Festival and had two subsequent runs Off-Off Broadway. Most recently, he completed his fourth full-length play, Mush, which is planned for development in 2011.

Michael Wolfe- Michael's stage credits include: Suspicious Minds (Center Stage NY) Retrospective (Manhattan Theater Source) A Place for Owls (Manhattan Theatre Source), Waffles (Manhattan Theatre Source) and Natural Affection (The Players Theatre). Michael has appeared in the following films: Tracks (with Ice-T and John Heard), Follow the Leader, Overheard in NYC, He Fits the Description, The End of Things, Into the Pines, Coffee to Cream, The Tape, Glass, You Get What You Give, Luca and The Science of Breathing. On television, Michael has appeared in Law & Order and in commercials for Wendy's, Coors Light, MTV, Molson and AOL. Michael is currently securing financing for his independently produced feature film Friendships and Trespasses.
