The New York International Fringe Festival Presents the World Premiere of Banshee of Bainbridge Written by Jim Tierney
The year is 1985. After losing his mother to cancer, 33 year old Mij Sullivan, an Irish-American Bronx native, believes it is his duty to restore his once all Irish neighborhood back to the way it used to be. The only problem is that he must fight off the Puerto Ricans to claim it. With a handful of visits by a banshee who has journeyed from the motherland to give him strength, Mij transforms himself into a warrior, but finds that the battle might only exist within him. - August 10, 2010
