ThermaPod Remains 100% BPA Free
Aurora, Canada, August 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ThermaPod, a division of Axiom Group Inc of Aurora, Ontario wants to ensure to its customers that all of their products always have been 100% BPA free. This comes in light of recent survey results from Statistics Canada that show 91% of Canadians have traces of the harmful chemical is their systems.
“I want to assure the public that every ThermaPod product is 100% free of BPA,” stated ThermaPod and Axiom Group Inc president Perry Rizzo. “Every product that comes off the ThermaPod assembly line is completely free of all harmful chemicals including BPA, phthalate, vinyl and lead.”
BPA, or Bisphenol-A is an industrial chemical used to make polycarbonate plastic for many products including food containers, water bottles and even receipt ink. It is a completely man made chemical that does not occur naturally in the environment.
The highest concentrations in the study were measured in those aged 12 to 19, however high volumes were found in every age category. BPA exposure is thought to affect people mostly in the developmental stages, where it has been blamed for developmental slowdowns in the brain. It is also thought to mimic estrogen, which can lead to early development in girls and delayed development in boys.
The ages when children are in school are the most important to children’s development, and yet when they are the most likely to be affected by BPA and other harmful products. ThermaPod products help protect your children by being 100% free of BPA, phthalate, vinyl and lead and thus are very smart and healthy choices for all Canadians.
