Emergency Medicine Physicians Sponsors 2nd Annual Video Contest

North Canton, OH, October 07, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP), a company that supplies residency-trained and board-certified emergency physicians to staff and manage hospital emergency departments across the United States, is holding their 2nd annual "Best in Emergency Medicine" Video Challenge. The deadline for entries is October 15, 2010.

EMP is passionate about delivering the best in emergency medicine and knows that emergency medicine residency programs across the country are, too. They are inviting emergency medicine residents to submit a video showing EMP why their program is the best.

The first place winner will receive $5,000, as well as $10,000 for their residency research fund. The second and third place winners will receive $2,500 and $1,000, respectively. Entries can be funny, sentimental, informative or crazy, as long as they adhere to contest rules and regulations.

Entries can be submitted October 1-15, 2010, at http://www.emp.com/video-challenge. Early birds can submit their video in person at ACEP's Scientific Assembly in Las Vegas, September 28-30, 2010. All early birds who visit the EMP booth (#1555) at ACEP and submit a qualifying video will receive a free Flip video camera.

Contest entries that meet the qualification requirements will be displayed on http://www.emp.com for final voting November 1 through December 15, 2010. Judging criteria includes originality and creativity (40%), adherence to creative assignment (30%) and overall appeal (30%). The entry with the highest number of votes will be declared the winner.
