Beautiful Days in October

Los Angeles, CA, October 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Who: The Beautiful Day Foundation, the non-profit organization raising breast cancer awareness to young women will be outreaching at college and high school campuses this October. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, campuses and student organizations have invited the Beautiful Day Foundation to educate young women about breast health, proper breast self-examination, speak to an oncology nurse and the importance of overall wellness. They will also be holding several fundraisers to help fund these ongoing education initiatives.

What:
Campus Health Education Events - The organization invites women to learn how to detect a tumor with the breast cancer simulator, enjoy healthy pink drink mocktails, receive a mini makeover and spin their wheel for free BDF goodies at various college and high school campuses.

5th Annual Golf Day a Pink on the Green Golf Tournament – The organization’s annual charity golf tournament will be held at the Los Verdes Golf Course overlooking the spectacular Pacific Coast in Rancho Palos Verdes. The golf event will award prizes in men’s and women’s categories, include a silent auction featuring a fabulous getaway to Jackson Hole’s Amangani Resort, an opportunity drawing with items ranging from fitness packages, entertainment bundles and dining experiences, and a music-filled dinner reception.
