Linda Bigler Helps Keaton Raphael Memorial Serve More Families
Coaching for a Cause uses business coaching to help charities improve their systems.
Las Vegas, NV, October 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Linda Bigler has always felt a need to serve her community in any way possible. In her role with ActionCOACH, Bigler works with businesses in need of assistance every day, but the Coaching for a Cause program developed by ActionCOACH has been a great way for her to really help those less fortunate.
Coaching for a Cause is a far-reaching, global pro-bono coaching program that helps non-profits and charities from all walks of life increase their top-level goals and better manage their funds through a simple pledge system. The program is designed to bring the proven and systemized business building methodology ActionCOACH uses to help for-profit business owners to non-profit entities.
Last year, the first for Coaching for a Cause, was incredibly successful as ActionCOACH helped raise almost $3 million world- wide. This year the goal is even higher as more coaches and more charities enter the program.
With the holiday season fast approaching, Coaching for a Cause is a great way for the ActionCOACH community to give back to those less fortunate.
Since April, Bigler has been working with Keaton Raphael Memorial, a foundation which helps families of children with cancer. Her efforts with Keaton Raphael Memorial through Coaching for a Cause have gone a long way toward helping the foundation improve its ability to help families in need, including increasing awarded grants by 30% for the foundation.
“Overall Linda brought a different approach, strategies and priorities,” CEO Robyn Raphael said recently. ”She’s helped us with time management, prioritizing and use our time productively throughout the day. Sticking with the goals we set with Linda certainly helped us win grants and improve the way we help people.”
Raphael continued, “Linda is a sounding board for me. A lot of the time CEOs can’t be frank with those around them, but Linda gives me an outlet. And, thanks to her help, I’ve been able to move away from the operations elements in the organization and really focus on my mission to fulfill an advocacy role nationwide.”
According to Raphael, “Coaching for a Cause has been a tremendous resource for us. Linda has even worked with our Board of Directors so they can more easily implement strategies. Now the Board has a team approach and they are working together. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with Linda and Coaching for a Cause. She is a great mentor and brings a unique perspective to our partnership. I think every non-profit could benefit from working with Coaching for a Cause and Linda specifically.”
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 32 countries. To learn more about ActionCOACH and Coaching for a Cause, go to actioncoach.com.
