The internationally established, Online Therapy Institute (OTI) and the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT) are partnering to advance online coaching and counseling standards worldwide. DeeAnna Merz Nagel and Kate Anthony, co-founders of Online Therapy Institute and Managing Editors of TILT Magazine (Therapeutic Innovations in Light of Technology), working in collaboration with LifeOptions Group and its Institute for Life Coach Training are pleased to announce:
· The recent release of OTI’s Ethical Framework for the Use of Technology in Online Coaching, a global reference point for the ethical use of technology in coaching.
· The upcoming publication of the new Ethical Framework for online coaching in TILT Magazine and a regular column on coaching and technology by the Framework’s principal author, Lyle Labardee, CEO of the ILCT.
· The availability of training in the use of the online coaching “Framework” standards by DeeAnna Merz Nagel who now serves as faculty with the ILCT, and who will assist in providing ILCT’s Board Certified Coach Training for therapists and coaches pursuing the new NBCC/CCE Board Certified Coach credential.
· The expanded, international role of Dr. Kate Anthony who has recently been appointed Executive Specialist in Online Coaching by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The Board of BACP established its Coaching Division in recognition of the growing importance of coaching to personal and organisational well being.
