Michael Peacock Joins E Source to Lead the Smart Grid Offerings

Boulder, CO, January 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- E Source has hired Michael Peacock as senior product manager for the E Source Intelligent Grid Service. This service provides utilities with industry best practices and guidance pertaining to smart grid–related technologies, programs, communications, data security, and privacy.

Peacock has more than 20 years of product and program management experience developing hardware, software, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products as well as using Agile/Scrum and Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies. Most recently, he was a product manager at Tendril Networks Inc., where he was responsible for managing the new product introduction process for web-based software products and ZigBee wireless devices focused on energy management for consumers and utility companies. Peacock also has experience with voice over Internet Protocol and Wi-Fi telephony products.
