Weight Loss at Top of New Year’s Resolutions, Dherbs Stresses Solution May be Internal Not External

Every year, “losing weight” traditionally is at or near the top of New Year’s Resolutions – particularly in light of the fact that two-thirds of adults are overweight and nearly one-third of children are overweight or considered obese. According to Dherbs.com, one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of herbal products, the solution to overcoming weight problems may actually be more internal (detoxification) that external (more exercise or changing eating habits).

Los Angeles, CA, January 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- As the second decade of the 21st Century begins, once again people worldwide have “weight loss’ either at the top or in the first three of their New Year’s Resolution preferences. Traditionally two questions accompany this popular annual resolution: how long will people keep the resolution; and what is the most effective means to lose weight.

Noting that surveys and medical studies reveal that two-thirds of Americans are overweight, it is not surprising that losing weight is so high on the list of resolutions – even above those relating to finances given the current dire economic times. This is the view of officials at Dherbs.com, one of the nation’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of all natural herbal products.

According to Djehuty Ma’at-Ra, the company’s founder, losing weight requires both the will and the means. He pointed to a New England Journal of Medicine article which stated that a vast majority of those who make resolutions to lose weight rarely follow through on this pledge or their effort has a time frame of a week or month or two. “This is tragic,” he emphasizes, “noting that a loss of even five to seven percent of body weight can prevent many types of health problems (e.g. Type 2 diabetes).

Another important factor, Ma’at-Ra stressed, is that many people do not utilize one of the most effective methods of weight reduction. While the tradition belief of changing one’s eating habits combined with an increase in exercise and physical activity is a sound approach, he said it overlooks another possibly more effective method – detoxification. He commented: “Too much emphasis is often put on cleaning the external body while not enough thought is directed to our inner body.

Detoxifying our bodies answers our body’s prayer to give it an internal shower and tune up.”

Ma’at-Ra reported that detoxifying one’s body helps eliminate toxic waste accumulations, mucus, parasites and worms (which he indicates “steals” what little nutrition that people get or have in their bodies), excess fat, fluid buildup (e.g. cellulite), old and hardened fecal matter buildup as well as many more unsightly and odorous matters that often play a pivotal role in sabotaging a person’s health.

To assist those who have made a weight loss resolution and are serious about following through with it, Ma’at-Ra announced that Dherbs.com on January 1 introduced a Weight Loss Resolution Package that combines a Full Body Detox with a Weight Release Formula. He noted the Full Body Detox consists of seven safe and effective herbal formulas designed to cleanse all the major organs of the body including the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, colon and blood. The Weight Release Formula, he noted, is a weight loss maintenance formula that will help to lose weight as well but is more effective in helping to keep excess weight off the body once lost or removed.

Ma’at-Ra reported that more information on the Weight Loss Resolution Package can be obtained by contacting Dherbs.com by telephone at (866) 434-3727 or visiting its website online at
