Hydraulic Institute Chooses SELMARQ™ for New Image Program
Charlotte, NC, September 20, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Hydraulic Institute has selected the branding consultants at SELMARQSM to establish a visual identity for their national pump systems educational initiative, Pump Systems Matter™ (PSM). The PSM pump energy optimization program is the first industry-led market transformation initiative in the US, and is designed to help industrial pump users find up to 20 percent reduction in energy usage.
Headquartered in Parsippany, NJ, Hydraulic Institute (HI) is an association of North American pump manufacturing companies and related equipment suppliers. HI Executive Director, Robert Asdal, was attracted to SELMARQ because of the agency's decades of marketing experience with both process equipment and trade associations. HI has also asked SELMARQ to design a website for the PSM program.
A U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Allied Partner, Hydraulic Institute has a long-standing relationship with the department providing energy savings guidance, case studies and software to benefit industry and non-government organizations. The institute was also a charter sponsor of a similar energy optimization program called Motor Challenge.
