Free Senior Fitness Classes at Seekonk Total Fitness
Seekonk Total Fitness will be offering free senior fitness classes starting May 3, 2011. Classes are free and open to the public.
Seekonk, MA, April 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Total Fitness Clubs (TFC) announced today they will be offering free senior fitness classes at their Seekonk, MA location Seekonk Total Fitness (SKTF) starting May 2011. These classes are free and open to the public.
These moderate 45-minute exercise classes are intended for seniors who want to remain active and will be taught senior certified fitness instructor, Melissa Carvalho. The class focuses on muscle strength, flexibility, strengthening joints, balance and coordination. Classes will use a chair for seated and/or standing support and will incorporate exercises with hand-held weights, elastic tubing for resistance, stretching and relaxation exercises. Classes will have a maximum capacity of 18.
