Sarasota Adventure Boot Camp Begins August 1
Sarasota, Florida, Fitness Program Offers Metabolic Resistance Training and Rapid Fat Loss
Sarasota, FL, July 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The next Sarasota Adventure Boot Camp, a four-week fitness training camp, is scheduled for August 1-26, 2011.
The program offers cutting-edge metabolic resistance training, rapid fat loss interval training and injury prevention through core balance and flexibility training. A nutrition seminar and meal plan are included.
"We focus on functional fitness and proper movement patterns because these carry over into our everyday lives and prevent injuries," said owner and fitness trainer Maureen Corristan, Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
Corristan has more than 20 years of experience in sports medicine, physical therapy and performance training at elite facilities such as IMG Academies, OPTI and Athletes’ Performance. Her expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation and conditioning has helped many professional athletes.
The regular Boot Camp runs one hour a day, three days a week, for four weeks at Extra Innings, 717 Cattlemen Road, Sarasota, Florida 34232. Participants may choose from the following schedules: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 5:45 a.m., 7 a.m. or 9 a.m., or Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
The Boxing Boot Camp runs one hour a day, Tuesday and Thursday, for four weeks, at Absolute Boxing Fitness, Ashton Business Center, 4463 Aston Road, Unit A, Sarasota. Participants may choose between 5:45 a.m. and 7 a.m.
